Minerals, Lands and Resource Policy Division

Kathryn Pollack’s extensive experience includes work in the oil and gas sector, utilities and mining industries within the private sector including privately held and publicly traded companies as well as a Crown Corporation. Kathryn has specialized in the areas of non-technical risk management, stakeholder engagement and real property asset management. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Regina and joined the Government of Saskatchewan in September of 2017.

As the Assistant Deputy Minister, Minerals, Lands and Resource Policy with the Ministry of the Economy, Kathryn’s current responsibilities include managing mineral and forestry development and taxation policy, energy policy, geological services, and Crown mineral land management.
